FOR
DUST JACKETS: Facsimiledustjackets.com
http://www.facsimiledustjackets.com It
is Mark's goal to catalog as many classic dust jackets as
possible. (I would call it his passion in fact.) He has over
3,500 facsimile dust jackets offered on his site at
present--2,400 have thumbnail pictures. The number of dust
jackets available for restoring will soon be boosted to over
18,000. Mark is an exceptionally hard worker (as you might
guess) and his facsimiles are of excellent quality--both in
craftsmanship and materials. His site is a great place to browse
and search. You'll find your favorite authors and titles
there—among them P. G. Wodehouse, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and
Agatha Christie, to name a few. You'll also find many rare dust
jackets—which most of us would never get a chance to see if it
weren't for his efforts.
Newport
Vintage Books http://newportvintagebooks.com/ I
first "met" Frank Krieger of Newport Vintage Books
through buying one of his great photoplay facsimile dust jackets
from his S. S. Van Dine mystery series. I soon learned that we
had a lot more in common than just an interest in vintage
mysteries and dust jackets. Besides being a big mystery buff and
a facsimile dust jacket craftsman, Frank has an interest in
classic movies and radio shows. His multi-faceted website
reflects all of these interests and more. In his web store you
will find Vintage Books, Dustjackets, Old Time Radio Shows, even
Old Movies, . . . in many different categories. He also
specializes in children's series books and jackets.
