HOWARD
CHANDLER CHRISTY,
and
lovely interior illustrations by Watson Davis
A. L.
BURT Does not
mention a date or another publisher, but circa 1905.
THE VOLUME:
A beautiful and seemingly a very rare edition of the sequel
to “Ishmael.”which
you can view by clicking the title in quotes. Both editions have
beautiful illustrations and Dust Jackets with artwork by Howard
Chandler Christy and interior illustrations by an artist named
Watson Davis.
THE
DUSTJACKET: A
NEW FACSIMILE copy
of the scarce Howard Chandler Christy jacket, which sold
with this edition, made from a scan of an original in very good
condition, printed on one sheet of acid-free paper by an archival
inkjet printer (80 yr. inks), and preserved in archival plastic.
I
think this beautiful, special-issue Howard Chandler Christy dust
jacket. would look great on any Southworth book of the same name
(regardless of the publisher), and particularly on all other A.
L. Burt editions. Dust Jackets can be made to order in any size.
If
you would like assistance in obtaining a copy of this particular
edition with a facsimile dust jacket please feel free to contact
me.
