Beautifully Illustrated by Vaux Wilson

BOBBS MERRILL, 1915

THE VOLUME: Very lovely glossy interior illustrations in black and white by Vaux Wilson.

THE DUST JACKET: A NEW FACSIMILE copy of the very scarce dust jacket which sold with this edition, made from a scan of an original in good condition, printed on one sheet of acid-free paper by an archival inkjet printer (80 yr. inks), and preserved in archival plastic.

A very soft, special jacket, especially notable for what has been left out—no hard outline surrounding the lady subject walking in the snow.

THE STORY: The flaps of this dust jacket are completely blank . The pictures look like people with problems on the slightly comical side at times, as is often the case in Mary Roberts Rinehart's highly entertaining mysteries.
